Spring Break iPad Movie and Animation Camp
What are your kids doing over spring break?
At Arlington Independent Media, they can have a creative and inspiring week while learning essential media production skills and having lots of fun.
Our Spring Break Media Camp is for kids 8-13 years old. Working together under the guidance of specialized instructors and media professionals, campers will learn basics of storytelling, iPad movie making, stop motion animation, and sound effect production. In the process, they will be introduced to the concepts of media literacy and critical thinking.
We want to change the way youth relate to media. We teach skills that transform them from passive consumers to active media creators. Our camp not only gives kids the technical and creative skills needed to produce media, but also shows them how to decode the array of media messages around them.
Spring Break Media Camp runs March 26 – 30, 8:30am to 4:30pm. Held at AIM's facility, located at 2701-C Wilson Boulevard in Arlington, VA.
