AIM Wins National Award of Excellence

We have just been awarded Overall Excellence in Public Access in the 2014 Hometown Media competition. This marks the ninth time in 24 years that AIM has received this prestigious prize. “We are pleased and honored to win this award, which recognizes the outstanding work of our staff and volunteers,” AIM executive director Paul LeValley said.

Audio Room Update

So many people have shown interest in our upcoming audio room, which will be used to provide entry-level and advanced courses in audio production. We have submitted drawings for approval from Arlington County, and are now awaiting permits before we take the next step. Thanks for your continued support, we'll keep you updated!

New Communications Coordinator at AIM

Melissa joins AIM as Communications Coordinator. Hailing from Florida, she has a background in communications as well as publishing, marketing, and project management. She recently earned her MA in Activism and Social Change at the University of Leeds; her interests include documentaries, community development, and social inclusion, as well as fair access to open media and information.
