Patrick McCleary

Patrick graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2010 with a degree in English. Not long afterwards, he started working at Falls Church Community Television as a Master Control Operator, eventually acquiring the duties of camera operator and technical director for recording local government meetings. With this being a part-time position, Patrick pursued freelance work for local independent film productions. He has successfully crewed for multiple feature length and short films as a production assistant, camera assistant, and grip.

Civil War Songs & Letters Performance

Here, actors bring to life real letters and diary entries of Civil War experiences, ranging from a farmer who was a conscientious objector, an Alexandria teenager who recorded events throughout the conflict, to an African-American soldier writing to his enslaved daughters.

AIM Wins National Award of Excellence

We have just been awarded Overall Excellence in Public Access in the 2014 Hometown Media competition. This marks the ninth time in 24 years that AIM has received this prestigious prize. “We are pleased and honored to win this award, which recognizes the outstanding work of our staff and volunteers,” AIM executive director Paul LeValley said.
