Ali Walton

Ali started at AIM in August 2012, after previously working as an Associate Producer for the Washington, DC firm O’Keefe Communications. Ali got her start in marketing and communications with Divine Chocolate, the world’s first farmer-owned fair trade chocolate company.  She is a graduate of the theater program at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and holds a Certificate in Web Design from Northern Virginia Community College.  

Kevin Sampson

Kevin started working at AIM in October 2012. He received an MFA in Film & Electronic Media from American University in Washington, D.C in 2011.  Before coming to work at AIM, Kevin taught filmmaking and stop motion to elementary and middle school aged students at Fairfax Collegiate, and was a video editor at IREX, a non-profit in D.C.

Elaine Coates

Elaine started working at AIM in September 2012.  A recent graduate of American University’s School of Communications’ graduate program “Producing Film and Video," Elaine previously worked as Membership and Programming Coordinator for Women in Film and Video in Washington, DC.  After graduating from AU in May 2012, Elaine moved to the Arlington, VA area and volunteers in the community with the Animal Welfare League of Arlington.

Nathan Bynum

Nathan joined AIM full-time in 2012 after working part-time with the youth Video Production Camp in 2011 and 2012. Nathan has worked as a middle school counselor, freelance videographer and high school TV production teacher.  His freelance projects include a project for Crossroads Community Food Network and videos for organizations promoting teen entrepreneurship, teen meditation, and adult meditation and mindfulness retreats.

Devin Gallagher

Devin Gallagher started working at AIM in November 2007. Before coming to AIM he was director of video production for the Braddock Youth Project in Pittsburgh, PA, a program to teach underserved high school youth. As staff producer with AIM, Devin works on staff programs such as The Nations Capital Sports Show, shoots events such as local election coverage, and edits footage from a variety of staff-shot footage. Devin is directly responsible for production of Arlington high school football and basketball, various van productions, and coverage of many community events.

Lauree McArdle

Lauree joined AIM in August 2004. Her promotion to Operations Manager includes the primary functions of coordinating the scheduling of the facility & staff, overall operations and programming the channel. Lauree also heads up the Arlington Independent Radio project. She graduated from The Richard Stockton College of NJ with a BA in Communications. Previous experience include: Montgomery Community TV, Sesame Street, Nickelodeon and WLFR, the radio station of Stockton College.
