Document Arlington

Application are now being accepted for the The Document Arlington Project (DAP).   DAP is a six-week, paid, television production apprenticeship program open to all Arlington County high school students.  

Chris Oxenford

Chris was a participant in the very first Document Arlington Project at Arlington Independent Media in 2006. Because it was such a great experience, Chris pursued film in college and graduate school. He graduated from Syracuse University’s Documentary Film and History program in 2012. Shortly after that, he was thrilled to return to AIM, where he is happily helping members to produce community programming, while also planning his own documentaries and other projects for the near future.

Picture Lock Hosts Panel Discussion on the State of Black Cinema

Picture Lock is an hour-long television show produced through AIM that focuses on film reviews and the DC area film scene. On Monday, February 24th, Picture Lock, along with Districtly Speaking, a monthly community town hall platform, hosted a town hall-style discussion on the state of Black Cinema.
