Digital Still Photography (19-B)
Through demonstrations, lectures, in class exercises, assignments, and critiques, students explore the many technical and aesthetic aspects of digital image making. Topics include: camera types, basics of color, composition, correct exposure technique, creative use of flash, and digital workflow. Students should already have access to a digital camera that permits adjustment of iris and shutter speed.
**This class meets for over four Monday evenings, 7 - 10pm (Oct. 21, 28, Nov. 4 & 18), and one Saturday from 10am - 4:30pm (Nov. 9). Saturday class is a day-long shooting field trip.
