Digital Cinema Production (18-B)
This three-week course teaches the basic principles and techniques of shooting with the Canon C300 digital cinema camera. The workshop covers the set up and operation of the camera, including proper assembly of the body, matte box, lenses, and follow focus for both tripod and handheld configurations. This course also demonstrates best practices for shooting a digital cinema production and introduces students to the Canon C300 production workflow. Upon completion, participants have the opportunity to become certified and eligible to check out the Canon C300 camera. Field certification is a prerequisite for this course.
