Photoshop: Digital Darkroom

This three-week workshop provides a comprehensive overview of the Photoshop program and will guide students through the fundamentals of using Photoshop CC, as a digital darkroom. Through demonstrations and in-class exercises students will learn the skills needed to manage, correct, enhance and create digital images using this powerful program. Digital workflow, working with metadata, manipulating color and contrast, as well as sizing, sharpening and outputting images are among the areas in this informative workshop. 

About the Instructor:

Jason Horowitz has been a professional commercial and fine arts photographer for more than 25 years. He holds a BA in Photography from George Washington University and a MFA in Photography from Virginia Commonwealth University.  He has taught on both the high school and university level holding adjunct faculty positions at Georgetown University, Virginia Commonwealth University, Marymount University, Maryland College of Art and Design and Corcoran College of Art.  Jason's commercial work has been published worldwide and his fine art is part of the permanent collections of the Corcoran Gallery of Art and George Washington University, in addition to many individual and corporate collections.
