Digital Darkroom - Photoshop and Lightroom
This three-week workshop provides a comprehensive overview of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom programs and will guide students through the fundamentals of using these programs for organizing, editing, and manipulating digital images. Through demonstrations and in-class exercises students will learn the skills needed to manage, process, correct, and enhance photographs using these powerful programs. Digital workflow, working with metadata, manipulating color and contrast, as well as sizing, sharpening and exporting images are among the areas covered in this informative workshop.
About the Instructor:
Jason Horowitz has been a professional commercial and fine arts photographer for more than 25 years. He holds a BA in Photography from George Washington University and a MFA in Photography from Virginia Commonwealth University. He has taught on both the high school and university level holding adjunct faculty positions at Georgetown University, Virginia Commonwealth University, Marymount University, Maryland College of Art and Design and Corcoran College of Art. Jason's commercial work has been published worldwide and his fine art is part of the permanent collections of the Corcoran Gallery of Art and George Washington University, in addition to many individual and corporate collections.
