Advanced Audio Production
AIM's Advanced Audio Production AIM's Advanced Audio Production master class provides an in-depth examination of the theory and practice of studio audio recording, editing, and mixing. Students will explore beyond the basics to cover such topics as importing various audio sources, conducting interviews via phone or Skype, advanced editing, music recording, mixing sound for video, layering effects, compression, EQ, and output. Additionally, this class will provide students a working understanding of the Slate Raven MTi, touch screen production console.
About the Instructor:
Jim Bloch has over 35 years of experience in sound design, production, and engineering. He is the owner of BlochHouse Media, a full-service audio production firm that provides consulting and design services, as well as location and in-studio production for television, radio, podcasting, and other web based media. Jim's client list includes Discovery Channel Network, WE Network, The Washington Post, IBM, America's Most Wanted and many more.
