Radio Production Camp (19-A)

Registration is closed for this event
Youth ages 8-13 have a creative and fun week while learning to make their own radio shows.

Our Summer Break Radio Camp is for kids 8-13 years old. Working together under the guidance of specialized instructors and radio professionals, campers will learn the basics of audio production and radio broadcasting, while creating several shows for Arlington’s community radio station, WERA - 96.7FM.

We want to change the way youth relate to media. We teach skills that transform them from passive consumers to active media creators. Our camps not only give kids the technical and creative skills needed to produce media, but also shows them how to decode the array of media messages around them.

This one week camp is limited to 6 participants. Sessions run Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. All camps take place at AIM's facility, located at 2701-C Wilson Boulevard in Arlington, VA.

Camp Fee:   $299.00
