At the general meeting of members, a motion to change the AIM fiscal year will be placed on the floor for consideration by all voting members of the corporation (all members who are Arlington residents or who are sponsored by an Arlington business or organization are ‘voting members’). It’s important for the organization to change it’s fiscal year in order to align with Arlington County’s fiscal year because AIM will now be working within their annual budget process. To allow for extended hours of operation at AIM, we are establishing a new level of member volunteerism with enhanced responsibility and authority. These super-volunteers would be allowed to "staff" the facility during hours that AIM is not normally open in order to facilitate live radio broadcasts before and after normal hours.
