AIM just purchased two Fotodiox Pro LED 312 Camera Light Kits. These kits are great to take into the field whether you are shooting in a dark music club, outside at night, or anywhere without a power source.

AIM member Les Owen, who serves as videographer for the U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own," sent us footage of the dress rehearsal for the Inauguration Parade, which took place on Sunday, January 13th.

Being located in Arlington, right across the river from our nation's capital, has its pros and cons. Pros include: proximity to world-renowned museums, access to experts in public policy and spectacular views of the monuments from our backyard. Of course with these pros come the cons: waiting in traffic for an official motorcade to pass or the frustrating search for affordable housing.

None of us were surprised when the world didn’t end on December 21st (I hope). Misguided people misreading an ancient text and spreading their misunderstanding via the Internet is hardly new and we’ve seen doomsday come and go frequently over the past few years.
