AIM Closure Due to Coronavirus

A Message to the Arlington Independent Media Community:
Closure Due to Coronavirus
Perhaps more than anything else, the feature of Arlington Independent Media that people comment on the most is our strong sense of community. In that spirit, today AIM joins other community-minded businesses making the difficult decision to close operations during the current coronavirus emergency to support community safety.
On March 16, 2020, AIM closed its doors to the public and will remain closed until, at least, the beginning of June.  AIM will be closed to members for classes, production and live programming. We take this critical step to do our part to "flatten the curve" and take care of our cherished creative community. Please: stay home, stay well - and help others do the same.
Our doors are closed, but our channels are open! You can still enjoy free and independent community media on AIM's two cable channels (Comcast 38 and Verizon 69), our live streams, and "Radio Arlington" WERA 96.7 FM. We will continue to deliver volunteer-produced, locally-focused music and talk programs featuring your friends and neighbors and people you'd like to meet in Arlington and around the DMV. Be sure to tune in - and tell a friend. Better yet, have a virtual #CommunityMedia listening or viewing party!
If your resources allow and you feel so inclined, we would welcome your financial support right now. We've cancelled all our classes and now chosen to forego other possible revenue. We're going to feel the hit. Your contributions are much appreciated. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
Thanks for creating, watching, listening, and - for now - social distancing with us.
