For 21 years the Rosebud Festival has recognized and honored the innovative, experimental, unusual, and deeply personal in regional film and video making. Each year our annual competition awards large cash prizes, video products and services, as well as theatrical and cable television showcases, exclusively to film and video artists in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Rosebud Film and Video Festival has earned a reputation for attracting some of the area’s best and brightest talents, and for putting together showcases of films that are exciting and challenging.
