Producers
Hundreds of local, community-based programs of every genre and style are produced through the facilities of AIM each year. Volunteer producers know that they’ll get state of the art equipment, help from a huge base of trained and experienced volunteers, and guidance and assistance from the expert staff at AIM. Every point of view is welcomed in producing high quality, local programming at AIM.
Anyone can produce a program at AIM. If you have an idea, you can make it happen using our facilities and equipment. Producers are required to be active members and take the introduction to media production workshop. Depending on the location of the program, a producer and/or his or her crew must be certified to use the studio or field equipment.
All producer programming must be intended first and foremost for airing on the AIM cable channel. Producers are required to fill out a program information form prior to beginning production, and to sign a channel use agreement prior to the first airing of a program.
