Producer of the Year

The producer of the year award is chosen by the AIM members as the producer who best represents the AIM mission, values and outlook. In fiscal year 2012 the award was given to Darnell Bell, producer of D-BEAT, a program that exposes viewers to different ways of life and music. The beat is the heart and soul of any music, and D-BEAT showcases a variety of musical genres through interviews and performances.  In addition to producing his own program at AIM, Darnell is an active volunteer with other programs, including Rick Dash Presents. The award was given at the Annual Meeting on Sept. 29, 2012.
