Voice Box Thursday, August 19th

Join us on Thursday Aug. 19th at 7:30pm for a civil liberties Voice Box.

This month Voice Box will be looking at civilian-police interaction. Nationwide, there have been growing concerns relating to video taping or photographing police activity, even in places where there is no expectation of privacy. Some instances have resulted in people being forced to hand over tapes or delete photos, others have resulted in arrests. States as close as Maryland have used wiretapping laws as grounds for arresting civilians who record on duty officers. Join us this month as we discuss this situation and consider it's impacts for Arlington and our country.
