Video Production Camp

This summer, take a break from watching TV and learn to make your own!

At Arlington Independent Media (AIM) - Video Production Camp participants learn how to become a well informed, critical thinking media consumer - all in two weeks.

Video Production Camp is for youth ages 10 -13.  Working together, with the guidance of media professionals, participants will develop a story idea, write a script, shoot footage, and edit their own short production.  In the process they will be introduced to the basic concepts of media literacy and critical thinking.  

At AIM, we want to change the way youth relate to media.  We teach skills that transform youth from passive consumers of media, to active creators of media. AIM Video Production Camp, will not only give kids the technical and creative skills needed to produce video, but will show them how to look at media differently.

Fee:               Early Registration (before 5/18) - $599
                      Regular Registration (after 5/18) - $699
